How Transdermal Electrolysis Works
|
Instead of inserting a needle into the hair follicle, with the TE System a tweezer or a cotton probe is used with a specially formulated, ionized gel to transmit galvanic current into the hair follicle while gliding over the skin. When the current comes in contact with the water and salt that is naturally found in the hair follicle, a chemical reaction takes place. The chemical reaction creates sodium hydroxide. Just like in traditional, needle electrolysis, the sodium hydroxide damages the germinative cells in the follicle, thus achieving permanent hair removal.
